1.5 X 15 X 13 cm environ ~ Signée et datée au dos.

Symbolique : l’arbre de vie, dont les racines et les branches sont entrelacées, représente l’harmonie, le cycle, l’éternité, l’inconditionnel, le flux, l’équilibre… Je l’ai pensé en m’inspirant de l’esthétique des cathédrales gothiques, de leurs ogives et de leurs vitraux. De petites feuilles sculptées et cuivrées se joignent aux entrelacs, ainsi que sur le pourtour de la pierre centrale.

Composition :

• bois de bouleau français (non issu de la déforestation), séché durant de longues années ajouré, sculpté et pyrogravé à la main puis patiné à l’ocre naturelle.
• Améthyste naturelle de grande qualité, à la teinte profonde, éthique et écoresponsable (certifiée fairmined et faitrade, en savoir +) originaire du Sri Lanka et taillée par un petit lapidaire en Angleterre.
• Accroche au dos en fil de laiton revalorisé, torsadé.

L’ensemble des matières utilisées est le plus éco-responsable possible : bois local non issu de la déforestation, traité naturellement avec un fongicide et un anti-parisites naturel (mélange traditionnel en Scandinavie de sèves de pin du nord et de distillats de plantes), vernis 100% naturel, pigments non toxiques, pierre éthique et écoresponsable, laiton revalorisé.

Unique and handmade piece of art in Normandie (France) for interior decoration, to hang or to place on a shelf, a small piece of furniture.

Symbolic: the tree of life, whose roots and branches are intertwined represents harmony, cycle, eternity, unconditional, flow, balance … It while being inspired by the aesthetics of Gothic cathedrals, their warheads and their stained glass. Small carved and coppery leaves join the tracery, as well as around the perimeter of the central stone.

Composition:

• French birch wood (not from deforestation), dried for many years openwork, carved and pyrographed by hand then patinated in natural ocher.
• High quality, ethical and eco-friendly natural dark amethyst (certified fairmined and fairtrade, learn more here) from Sri Lanka and cut by a little lapidary in England.
• Hook on the back in revalued brass wire, twisted.

All the materials used are as eco-friendly as possible : local wood not derived from deforestation, treated naturally with a fungicide and a natural anti-parisites (traditional mixture in Scandinavia of northern pine sap and plant distillates) , 100% natural varnish, non-toxic pigments, ethical and eco-responsible gemstone, revalued brass.
