Description
Unique piece, handmade in Normandy (France).
Enter the world of druids and druidesses, the mystery of wild plants and the relationship that humans have with Mother Nature. This knife will be ideal for pickers looking for their tool of choice, with a sharp edge according to their needs for a neat and clean cut (to avoid unnecessary scarring to the harvested plants as well as a larger tearing surface that risks make them contract more diseases).
Handcrafted knife whose handle in Norman walnut was carved by me with vegetable arabesques of my composition and whose blade, in high quality Swedish steel, having a very high resistance to corrosion and coming from a steelworks making efforts at the environmental level, was forged by my partner, Benjamin ALBRYCHT from La Forge d’Asgeir.
It is a small knife that will be very useful to you, both for a walk for your wild pickings and for picnics, hiking, at the table, in the kitchen … It will perfectly fit a small hand for a perfect grip . On the blank, the blade is rough forge. On its back, it is guilloche (decorative carving). This one measures 5.9 cm long, 1.6 cm wide and 3 mm thick. The handle measures approximately 9.7 cm. 15.6 cm total length approx.

Made by « four hands » for many hours, in Normandy in our workshop. All the materials used are as ecofriendly as possible and the wood is treated naturally with a fungicide and a natural anti-pest (traditional mixture in Scandinavia of northern pine sap and plant distillates), a patina with pigments natural, an absolutely non-toxic natural varnish and a bio-sourced resin.
Care instructions: after washing, wipe your knife directly with a clean cloth. Do not let it soak in water. To nourish the handle, you can use a natural oil such as linseed oil to apply with a soft cloth and to sharpen the blade you can use a natural water stone (you can buy these items if necessary on Benjamin’s ETSY website: https://www.etsy.com/fr/shop/AsgeirCraft ). To clean the blade, you can use a little alcohol and rub gently.
